Sponsored Cycle Ride

Zonal Trustee, Deb Lee and Wath MU member, Geoff Fellows cycled from York Minster to St Paul's London over 9 days- a total of 360 miles. They carried the York Provincial baton to the 150th Celebration service on June 10th 2026

The Cycle Ride started at York Minster
The Provincial Baton was handed over to Deb ferom York President
Day 1 Deb & Geoff cycled 30 miles to Leeds Minster and then on to St Peter's, Stanley in Wakefield Diocese
Day 2 they cycled to Chesterfield with a stop at Wath Parish Church,where Geoff is a member
And then on to Sheffield Cathedral
There was cake at Sheffield Cathedral! and then they cycled to Chesterfield-a total of 53 miles today.
Day 3 was 57 miles to Derby Cathedral. They were joined by Geoffrey and Mick
Day 4 52 miles from Derby to Coventry where they met up with Sophie Jelley, the Bishop of Coventry
Day 5 Coventry to Bodicote (Banbury) 35 miles
Day 6 they cycled 31 miles from Bodicote to Oxford and were joined by Deb's son in law and granddaughter.
Day 7 40 miles Oxford to Chesham- lots of rain!
